The kiwi bird is another flightless bird found in New Zealand. Kiwis may look cute and shy, but they are actually very territorial and have razor-sharp claws which can do some damage when they attack. According to one biologist, their attack is something like a hit-and-run.. in which they belt you in the leg and then run off into the undergrowth of their habitat.
