Rare Black Panther Seen Alive in Kenya

Leopards can be found in all of sub-Saharan Africa and west of the Kalahari Desert, and they are also found in the Middle East (Iran and Pakistan) and Asia (China, India, Indonesia, and Nepal). They were once very abundant but were hunted for their fur and suffered significant decline in the 1960s and 70s. Todays population world-wide is estimated to be around 500,000.
